quick message auto-link to post FIXED Dec. 17, 2007 at 7:58pm by hithere — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows Vista
Quick Messages have a link to the post at the bottom. It appears that these auto-links use the old link system because they keep turning up blank pages when I click on them. |

replying on topics but not getting a point Dec. 15, 2007 at 10:05pm by EndLess LoVe — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows Vista
I have been making replys to topics and have noticed many times that a reply has not been counted and I do not get a point for it. For example today I made a reply and got "You need 576 more points to become a Connoisseur" After I made another reply and again it said "You need 576 more points to become a Connoisseur" I've noticed this atleast once daily. Ill make a reply and then another but I will not get a point a for it. |

Annoying Tab Bug FIXED Dec. 12, 2007 at 3:30pm by Ethryx — Safari 532.0 on Windows NT 6.1
It works like this..If you are looking at a topic, and as you are reading it you accidentally open up the "Quick Message" feature where if you mouse over Message it opens up a text box and submit button. Well, once one or more of those Quick Message things are opened up, and you use the quick reply feature at the bottom of the topic, the tab order gets messed up. Once the focus is on the text box for the quick reply, pressing tab SHOULD go to the Add Reply button but instead, it goes to one of the quick message things that are opened further up. This gets annoying because I usually press tab and then enter to reply quickly without having to click the button. |

Group Avatars FIXED Dec. 12, 2007 at 1:23am by dreamweaver — Unknown Browser
I uploaded one avatar when I first created my group but when I uploaded another one to take over it's spot (I didn't like the old one), nothing appears where the avatar should be. I have tried different ways to see if it will work somehow, but nothing has worked so far. |

Refferals FIXED Dec. 11, 2007 at 2:48pm by Berend — Firefox 3.5.3 on Mac OS X
I got really fed up of getting the Mod messages telling me that I had to reffer a friend. Firstly, I kinda joined these forums because I knew nobody here, and so could be myself! But anyway, I reffererd myself on a different account (I'm sorry) and verified the email and made several posts and all (I even got the points). Sadly, I'm still getting the messages telling me that I have reffered a friend, but that they haven't verified their email (I have, several times...) Thanks for your time, and thanks very much for the Forums, they're great! Berend |

I uploaded an image from dormwire for the first time using this account, and the new album that it was in stretched across the entire screen when it was viewed. To get rid of this, I had to delete the album. |

Post deleted message error FIXED Nov. 28, 2007 at 10:46am by Periwinkle — Firefox 3.5.6 on Linux
Whenever I hide posts myself (not in a vote with another SL), the message still says it was removed in a vote by SLs. I'm guessing this is because I'm a new mod, and I'm still counted as a support leader, even when I'm hiding replies in forums I can moderate. |

a symbol in groups means your message is cut short FIXED Nov. 28, 2007 at 8:08am by devil returns —
I was typing a message into the groups and after a sentence I wrote " :| " as in a disappointed smiley face.. "soz your underage :| no joking you can" if you type that in and click send then the | symbol isn't shown and neither is anything you type after | . Meaning "| no joking you can" isn't shown and instead the message just says "soz your underage :" |

Non-cont post removal message embedded sound crashes Browser. FIXED Nov. 22, 2007 at 6:00pm by Khadgar — Firefox 3.0.15 on Windows XP
I use Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7, and every time I get a message (or reply to a message) where that non-cont sound file is, it crashes my computer. It's crap. I KNOW other users have had this issue, as I've talked to them about it, but it hasn't frustrated me enough to actually post a bug report until now, when I was trying to reply to a member who had responded to the message when I removed one of their posts. I now cannot reply any other way other than to use quick-reply, but I want to see the previous messages they sent me, so I can't really do that. I may just no longer flag posts as being non-cont and put something else until this is resolved, because this is ridiculous. |

Different User Log In. Nov. 22, 2007 at 11:38am by freedom — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows XP
When logging in after the signing in screen it changes to someone else (usually one of my friends) as it has logged in as one of them. This has happened to a few of my other friends as well. We have kind of guessed that it happens when we log in at exactly the same time but we are still not sure. Surely this could be bad, I mean anyone may get logged on an abuse someone else's account? Thanks. freedom. Report Too Vague More information requested by davjs |

Blocking a member. FIXED Nov. 20, 2007 at 12:38am by LilGuardchic86 — Firefox 3.5.5 on Windows XP
There is an error with the blocking system. Not to long ago I had blocked a member and they were still able to write on my white board and comment on my pictures. All though about 3 months ago it wouldn't allow me to comment on someone white board who blocked me. There are other members who are experiencing this same issue and I was told that I should make a bug report about it. Thank you, -LGC |

mass message FIXED Nov. 19, 2007 at 3:39pm by hithere — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows Vista
Apparently a mass message I sent to my friends was sent to a member whom I had blocked. I was also on his friends list. And since blocked and befriended members are integrated in the friends script, the system read us as "mutual friends." |

Basically right everytime I go to see if any replies have been made to my created topics its shows up in burgandy the amount of new replies that have been posted but when I go on my topics it shows no replies whatesoever and its says that i posted it about a few minutes ago even when it's been hours. i don't know why but it always does this. Even my messages it'll say I have new messages and when I go on it its like yesterdays messages and the "Fresh Topics" will be the ones from a day before. |

New Forum Idea - Voting [For Mods] FIXED Nov. 13, 2007 at 1:05am by dreamweaver — Unknown Browser
If a mod suggests a new forum idea, that mod can also vote towards their own suggestion. Don't think this is necessarily fair... |

New member message - Reward point abuse Nov. 11, 2007 at 7:08pm by Khadgar — Firefox 3.0.15 on Windows XP
So, I know that if you message "new members" you get a reward point. Well, I also found that if you cancel the outgoing message before they read it, you still keep the point. This is pretty minor, but if someone like the "smiley face spammer" got all his hundreds of bots to spam new members with messages, then delete them before receipt, they would generate hundreds upon thousands of points without ever being detected. Not that that would happen, but it's still abuse of the point system to get points without "doing anything". I don't know how you would fix this, other than disabling the point for the first message, only enabling it upon response/receipt of the message. |

Last to post Nov. 10, 2007 at 10:16am by Spasty —
When two people post at the exact same time, it doesn't accurately tell who the last person to post was. Example: http://www.golivewire.com/forums/peer-syapbe-support-a.html#7 hotlikefire1 and RedRocket posted at the same time. RedRocket's post appears after hotlikefire1's, but it says the last post was made by hotlikefire1. |

Livewire home split with topic. Nov. 9, 2007 at 12:22am by espresso8097 — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows NT 6.1
A few times a day when I go to open up a thread the screen looks like this (look below, larger version in image basket). Usually only happens with multiple tabs open but is now happening with single tabs. Really annoying because refreshing the page just opens up the LiveWire home page. And the little thing about the Browser is wrong. Mozilla "Minefield" is the version, pre-release of the next Mozilla browser. If that is to blame don't sweat trying to fix it, my fault for using a non-ready browser. |

quick message link FIXED Nov. 8, 2007 at 8:51pm by hithere — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows Vista
The site gives a corrupted link for the reply to which the message refers. It gives the wrong post to start on, because it doesn't use the 15-post-per-page system. Okay, I was hoping this would not show "fixed" anymore when I edited it, but I originally posted 2 bugs together and you only fixed the first. |

new replies in forum Nov. 8, 2007 at 2:50pm by hithere — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows Vista
When I make a post in a forum, go back to the forum index, and hit refresh, the forum will show as when I'm certain no new replies have been made since I entered the forum (except mine). |

1) I've paid for ads to disapear, they haven't on dormwire. I'm sure this was intentional, if so disregard. 2) Myaccount.cgi does not work when on Dormwire. |

Sharing topic characters... Nov. 2, 2007 at 5:02pm by Seanee — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows XP
I went to share this topic with some of my friends on my list, and then I got a reply like "No, I've seen it" or "Yeah" and then I see previous messages and the link in the rounded box is only done all the way up to the title but missing out one of the end brackets. The rest shows up as hyperlink, but the end bracket doesn't. |
