Donation Bug
Oct. 31, 2007 at 3:48am by Spice — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows NT 6.1

I've come across two members that have asked about this now, xPhoenix and The Raven.

xPhoenix messaged me asking why his donations had been taken away, he received a message saying $12 had been removed. Yet he still retains his large avatar.

The Raven made this topic on it, and was originally a sustainer and also received a message about it. She currently has $6 showing in her account and her profile shows her as a patron.

I've also noticed orangehatkid has had his sustainer status remoed and now appears as though he has never donated either, yet still retains his large avatar also.

[I'm not deleting the avatars of member 1 & 3 because I am aware they have donated before]

eHelp Post Preview (missing enhancements)
Oct. 29, 2007 at 1:57am by Jay JWLH

This occurs on the reply page of an eHelp. When you add livetags to your reply, and post preview it, the livetags (bold in my example) do not show up. Although they do show up when you finally decide to submit the reply.

You are taking my outbox
Oct. 28, 2007 at 1:06pm by bighead1991 — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows Vista

All the automated messages for novices and post deletions are taking up my Outbox.

Why should we get things taken from us for doing our job? :P

Also, we get the non-contributive sounds when viewing those messages.

Anonymous topic replies?FIXED
Oct. 27, 2007 at 2:17pm by Khadgar — Firefox 3.0.15 on Windows XP

http://www.golivewire.com/forums/peer-etaeeb-support-oa.html

That is an example of what I am talking about. That is my topic, I marked it as anonymous to test some things. For whatever reason (perhaps because it is older), none of the replies I just made show up for me. As in, I posted around 12 times in that topic, and none of them are appearing. For me, at least, on page 3, there are no posts, not even placeholders. This is strange, and I have no idea what is going on. I asked a friend of mine to post, and their post did not appear either.

Note that it is increasing my post count, and it is giving me points, so potentially, something like this could be abused if there is no way to see who the members are who are posting.

Point transfers October 1st-2nd
Oct. 27, 2007 at 12:12pm by hithere — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows Vista

A few weeks ago I realized that I had a lot more points than I thought I should, but I had already been customizable so I didn't think about it that much. This morning I decided to not be lazy and spend some time doing the math to figure out if I really did have all those points or if the site messed up.

I figured out that the main My Account page says I have 6540 more points in transfers than the Point Transfer page says--exactly 2 times as many points as I received in a transfer on October 1st. I'm pretty sure that the person who gave the points to me only had 3270 points subtracted from their account, but I was given 9810 points.

I actually received 3 messages for that transfer. I remember well because that day was the day of the messenger bug where every "message" was sent 2 times, and later in the day it was bumped up to 3 times. The message said 3270 points specifically, and the other two (like all repeated messages that day) had the content of somebody else's messages in them.

I expect all other point transfers during the time of that messenger bug credited people with more points than they should've gotten.

ehelps html bugFIXED
Oct. 26, 2007 at 6:45pm by hithere — Firefox 3.5.6 on Windows Vista

Using a question mark (?) in an eHelp causes one or more characters after the question mark to be deleted--messing up either the actual words or the HTML.

oversight boardFIXED
Oct. 26, 2007 at 5:41am by Seafercat — Firefox 3.0.14 on Windows Vista

every time i look at certain pages in the oversight board thing (e.g "Members pardoned"),  it plays that "don't post for the sake of posting" sound clip, and it is so fucking loud, just why? Make it stop.

denied service whiteboardsFIXED

If a member has been denied service, you can still write on their whiteboard.

If this was intentional disregard all I have just said.

Previous Messages
Oct. 25, 2007 at 1:51am by Graustein

When I click "previous messages" when I'm talking with someone over pm, it doesn't show my messages, only theirs. Unless I'm the last one to reply, then it'll show my last reply, but otherwise, it just shows their responses. My PM conversations tend to involve lengthy replies, so I check previous messages quite alot

Cannot write on whiteboards!FIXED
Oct. 24, 2007 at 10:22am by hawkeye — Safari 528.16 on Mac OS X

Every time I try to write a note on anyones whiteboard (including my own), I get an "error" page saying that I have "Accessed this script incorrectly" or something like that. The last time I reported this, I was told it might be my browser...but that's false, because I can write on whiteboards on my laptop, and that uses the exact same Internet connection as my main computer...

LiveCard OutboxFIXED

Best to explain with print screens. I noticed when clearing my outbox a livecard appeared like this:

[sending to bighead1991]

clicking on it bought up this:

While I'm at it, you can cancel any moderator messages. Which I don't think is a good thing.

Ex Support Leader NoobsFIXED
Oct. 23, 2007 at 3:28pm by Pendulum — Opera / on Windows NT 6.1

Before I closed my account, I was a tech support leader, obviously this meant that I had novices...

When I closed my account, my TSL status was removed as always, but now that I have opened my account again, I still get messages telling me that my old novices have been warned..or are up for DOS...

Moderation messages not in outbox.FIXED
Oct. 22, 2007 at 2:47pm by Kuzaki — Firefox 2.0.0.20 on Windows Vista

Following the recent update about being able to view moderation messages that are automatically sent by me in my outbox, I've gotten into the habit of reviewing them every now and then.
But as of today none of them have been appearing in my outbox, and I've definitely moved a couple of topics and hidden a few posts today.

However, messages sent to my novices (the welcome message and the safety warning) are still there (ie. they're still being recorded in my outbox).
