Okay, I have this friend named Jorge. Well we are really good friends, he is like my best friend. And we call eachother big brother and little sister. He will do anything for me, and if someone messes with me, they mess them up. So ive grown to like him. Ever since the day me and my ex-boyfriend broke up. The last few weeks me and my boyfriend were together, I have had feelings for him that time too.

So everyone says he likes me too and that im blind not to see that he likes me back. but I'm scared what he will think, and im extremly shy to tell him that I like him. I really do want to tell him that I like him but the thing is I want things to change but I don't want things to change to. because then ill miss the good times we had togehter as best friends. But on the other hand I want to be more. I think he likes me because he is always shy around me,he says he thinks of me sometimes,he teases me, and jokes around with me, and cares about me alot. and other people also think he likes me.

The point is, should I tell him or not?

Ah, the good ol' dilemma of whether or not to risk a friendship for a relationship.

I have told more than one friend that I like them, and it did not destroy our friendship, even after I was rejected.  Therefore, I think that you have more to gain than to lose.  If in the off chance that he does not like you "like that," it may be awkward for a couple of hours or days, but if you guys are really good friends, that will continue.

Telling someone how you feel about them is also a great relief of your chest.  It will pretty much eat away at you until nothing is left if you keep it in.  I have always felt better after admitting my feelings to someone.

So, go for it!
