Subject: I've been abandoned
I've been abandoned and sometimes I just can't stop crying, my life is going down the drain. I'm cutting almost every night, please help me to stop .

Please submit another request with more information as it is very difficult to help you without knowing more about your situation.

In what way have you been abandoned? By a boy/girlfriend? By your family? When did this happen and what led up to it? Why did you start cutting and have you sought any professional help?

Please submit another request with more info so that we can better help you to get through this tough time.

If nothing else then please try and remember that self harm can lead to serious injury and that it rarely solves your problem. You need to find healthier ways to vent your emotions and deal with the horrible feelings that you must have pent up inside you to make you do this to yourself. I know that is so much easier said than done, but please seek some professional help either from your doctor or from a counsellor. It is an incredibly difficult move to make, but you really do need help in identifying what you are feeling and why and in finding less destructive strategies to deal with those emotions. You have your life ahead of you and you should give yourself a chance to make something of that rather rthan destroying it now. There is always hope, please believe me.

You say you have been abandoned however i don't know what sense you mean as you haven't really discussed if further however if you mean by family then you need to sort something out like people you can stay with or whatever. If you mean friends then you need to find out why it's happened and try and sort things out for yourself.

When life is going down the drain we tend to cry as a form of release however you need to say how for me to be able to give you the best advice which you deserve to receive. So feel free to either submit another eHelp with more details of what is wrong so that people can understand your situation further as you haven't given us much to go on.

As for the self harming, maybe it would help if you spoke to someone about it such as a professional or a friends. At times when we self harm things in our life affect us in such a way we don't feel we can carry on however with the right help and support I'm sure that you can sort things out for yourself.

Self harm isn't always the answer as it can cause things to be worse with your life. Another thing is there are other things you can do than self harm which are seen as a "healthy" way to release pent up feelings which i will give you the link for at the end of this eHelp. I wish i could help you more however you haven't provided me with much information of why you feel this way so if you want to talk to me through PM's or submit something with what makes you feel like this then you will get better advice.
