Frankly, someone has to clean the toilets, and if that person is you, you shouldn't consider that a personal failure. Any work which you do nobly is noble work. That having been said, anxiety over the future and getting into a college of your choice (or any college at all) it completely standard and almost always unfounded. Their is a higher education for almost everyone nowadays. If you don't get into the major university of your choice you can go to a lesser university. If that doesn't work, you can attend a satellite school or a local community/junior college and transfer in to a larger school. There are dozens of options available for the person who is motivated to get a sufficient education to reasonably support himself. So don't fret. It's not going to help you on your applications and standardized tests.
