How do I know if I'm posting in the right forum?

To ensure that you are posting in the right forum, check the bar below the Notepad, directly across from the "Search" box. When you go to a specific area of the forum, LiveWire will detail where you are like so: "LiveWire / My Forums / AREA." To ensure you're in the right forum, make sure that the "AREA" is the forum you wish to post your topic in, such as Deep Thoughts and Random Musings. If it isn't in the right forum, you may back out of that specific forum by clicking "My Forums," and locating the proper forum for your topic.

It's important to note that LiveWire has three very different sections (Teen/College/Tech). If you're in the Teen section, the Tech forums will not display when you select the "My Forums" link as described above. You'll have to manually click "Tech" to reveal those specific forums. To do so, look directly above the "Search" box and you'll see "Friends/Forums/Mood," look directly above those buttons, and you'll then see "Teen/College/Tech" - click whichever is applicable to your topic.

What if I post my topic in the wrong forum?

Not a big deal at all - easily correctable and expected. Simply message a moderator or a support leader and let them know that your topic needs to be moved.
