How can I create an effective quiz?
Quiz Name & Category:
- Do not end the name with the word "Quiz" as this word is added automatically on many pages.
- Choose a quiz name that relates to what the quiz is actually about.
- Choose a category for your quiz that is appropriate. Your quiz will be moved or removed otherwise.
- Check to make sure a similar quiz doesn't already exist.
- If you make a mistake, you can view your quiz and click on "Edit Title & Info" to correct it.
Writing Quiz Questions:
- Most Important: Remember that an answer of "Yes" adds a positive score to the results
- If you were making a quiz to see if someone is a penguin (penguins cannot fly), you couldn't write a question that read, "Can you fly?" Since the answer is "NO" , and that will make them less likely to get a response telling them that they are a penguin. You should word the question, "Are you unable to fly?" This way, they will check the box for "YES" and your quiz will be more accurate.
- Avoid questions that contradict themselves.
- If you make a mistake, you can view your quiz and click on "Edit Questions" to correct it.
Proofreading Your Quiz:
- Create a good image for yourself and LiveWire by using proper grammar. Especially in the title, try to refrain from using shortcut terms like "r u".
- Unchecked Title: This is what a person who does not check most of the boxes would be called. In a quiz called "Do You Love Ants" an Unchecked Title could be "Ant Hater."
- Checked Title: This is what a person who does check most of the boxes would be called. In a quiz called "Do You Love Ants" a Checked Title could be "Ant Eater."
- Low Score Message: The message that you would tell to someone who checks very few boxes on your quiz. For example, "You should spend more time with ants!"
- Mid Score Message: "You like ants, but you are not addicted to them... yet."
- Hi Score Message: "Come on over and join me for some piping hot ants!"
