I love learning new things! I have optimized the home page as well as image baskets.

So far my recent performance optimizations have reduced the primary server's processing average load by 20%. Twenty. Yes, twenty. That's an impressive number folks.

My makeshift LiveWire office in my house now has an external hard drive and software combination that automatically backs up the working copies of LiveWire's files every hour, day, and week keeping multiple versions. This allows us to retrieve older copies in the event of an error or file corruption.

Issue caused Image Basket images used as LiveCards that were of certain dimensions to not show up on the card preview.

One of the spam filtering lists had become out of date, temporarily shutting down email services. This has been corrected.

Humans vs. Zombies had styling issues with misplaced style tags.

Donations made in the last 72 hours were not credited to LiveWire accounts. The perl library that we were using to communicate with PayPal was written in 2003 and had fallen out of date.

I have written a new interface to paypal and donations are once again being instantly credited to your livewire accounts.

I am beginning the process of manually crediting member accounts for donations made in the last 72 hours, so don't worry!

I have fixed 5 separate database syntax errors that could occur when unexpected input was received.

Issue caused Player SnapShots to upload to the main server, rather than the secondary server where images are now stored.

Members must now be at least a LiveWire Connoisseur to send EMAIL from Messenger. This obviously does not apply to private messages, only email.

I've found that spammers are creating LiveWire accounts to spam hundreds of people, thus by making email access a privilege and not a right, they will tire of using us to send spam.

We are discontinuing the ability for members to receive emails at theirname@golivewire.com due to abuse.

Members give their livewire email address to companies who spam us relentlessly. This causes our servers much pain and sorrow.

Issue caused http://membername.showmember.com to go to the homepage rather than the profile of that member.

Issue caused messenger to be 1 hour ahead. Fix applies to new messages, not existing ones.

Issue caused "Join a Group" checklist item to not be checked if you accepted an INVITE from a group rather than clicking join in the group itself.

If an IB image was "missing" and a moderator clicked "reject" the image would linger in the mod menu for up to 24 hours.

I have moved certain utility scripts to our secondary server that deal with image basket photos.

This will further reduce server load during the 3am to 5am period Pacific Standard Time.

Issue caused nightly avatar cleaning script to not remove invalid avatars if they did not have a name.

You can now upload image again as well as delete existing ones.

We had run out of disk space on your primary server, moving these images to our secondary server will reduce server load and allow us to expand our image selection.

The server was mistakenly attempting to remove images from a non-existent directory.

Issue made it impossible for non-support leaders to view a listing of all the eHelps they had ever submitted.

- Disabled voting in polls for non-support leaders.

- Added "Prereq" warning on "Quick Reply" form in topics alerting members that they must be a support leader to add replies.

- Fixed issue that caused topic authors to be unable to reply to their own topics in the forum.

Added a waiting period of 5 seconds between clicking "Check Spelling" to reduce server load.

It was found that some members would accidentally click the link two or three times in under 4 seconds. This multi-clicking actually makes the response arrive slower, so this upgrade will benefit everyone.

I have improved large sections of coding that drive the creation of topics, polls, and replies on LiveWire to ensure that server resources are used as efficiently as possible.

Back by popular demand, the serious forum embodies all that LiveWire stands for: Peer Support. Peer Answers. Period.

Anyone can creates topics in the serious forum, but one must become a support leader to reply.

Issue caused pop-up password box in topics for moderators to appear in the wrong location if they had their sidebar on the left-hand side.
