considerable size? i thought it was supposed to be the size of like a little lollipop stick, and that it isn't supposed to hurt at all but maybe just feel a little uncomfortable.
like the others said your hymen may not even be intact because it can be broken in other ways. most hymens have a gap in them anyway as this allows your period to flow through. the shape and thickness of a hymen varies per person. some are even born without them. even if the stick does go through your hymen it may not necessarily break - sometimes it takes a women to have a sex a few times before hers will break. so don't worry about it, doctors do this all the time.
