Yesterday at my highschool in front of the entire student body,I was announced Valedictorian of my senoir class. Upon recieving my award, a fellow senior of mine yelled out the word "homo". A group of boys laughed as the others(students) watched in disgust. I was so pissed, I could have litrally killed one of those pricks for ruining my moment. My friends told me to nod it off and dont worry about it, but it hurt so much.Tears ended up strolling down my eyes because of it. Why cant some people just accept who you are? That is horrible. Dont feel bad for being who you are, you can only be hurt if you let people hurt you. Getting that award is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity most people dream about. Dont let rude people ruin your moment. Be proud of who you are and wallow in your individuality.

some high schoolers are morons. I have them too, they use the term 'gay' to insult people. But life goes on though and Im sure there'll be way less people like that once you get out of high school.

People say those kinds of things to make themselves look "cool", because they're assholes, they have nothing better to say, they're ignorant, and other stupid reasons.

Because some people are jerks. Some people are so closed-minded about other people and how other people are supposed to be, that they forget the reality of the situation; that we are all human and no human is better than anyone else. White, black, gay, straight, protestant, lutheran, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim...we are all humans and we should learn to tolerate other people. We should learn to at least Coexist Peacefully. If someone can't accept someone else, then they should at least try to respect them and stuff. What that guy to you was rude, cruel, and ignorant. That guy was being a big bigot. You should try to ignore people and their ignorance regarding things like tolerance. I know it hurts anyway, but try to ignore them. I try to everyday.

Yeah I had a customer, I know the couple... Not personally but I know them... Then the woman after them she's like was that a girl? I was like yes... She's like well that was wierd, she had the whole guys look shoes, pants, and all... I'm like... your total is blah blah... I mean if they are happy, let them be happy... Hell I bet they are more happier then us "normal" couples... I have nothing against gay couples, but that lady man she was a snob.
