Keep telling her that she's normal, and how bad it would be if she lost more weight. If it gets out of control, you need to talk to a teacher, counselor, et cetera.
------- Lose yourself in lines dissecting.

Wow, she is not fat. She does not need to lose weight, try to encourage her not to lose weight, but it is hard to do that, when someone has their mind set on the fact that they are fat and they are going to lose weight.

its really hard to really help someone like that, they truly need to realies things themselves but with your help. tell her different stories cause thats unhealthy for that hight, my sister got down to 92 pounds and passed out in shop and almost fell into a spinning blade, they hospitilized her, just keep talking to your friend even if she gets annoyed with you, because she will

Tell her she is perfectly normal, and at her size and weight, she shouldn't be losing it. Just keep trying to convince her shes fine jus the way she is, and if she loses weight she will look anorexic, and she might become sick. Try showing her some pictures of celebrities who are super-skinny with their bones showing, and ask her if she wants to look like that because that is how she will look if she doesn't start eating.

my friend jamie is 4'11 - 5'0 and shes 98 pounds. she thinks she is fat. she hasent eaten lunch for the past 4 weeks and im really worried thats she is anorexic. she always talks about losing weight and i think she is fine. she tells me she wants to be 93 pounds or 90. idk how to help her. what can i do?
She may still be eating, because I don't eat at school. I havn't in years, mainly because I hate eating infront of people at school.

if she's talking about losing weight and not eating at lunch, it is right to consider an eating disorder. however, just because she skips lunch and talks about losing weight, doesn't mean she is losing weight. and it doesn't mean she doesn't go home and have a large dinner, either. there is a difference between an eating disorder, and disordered eating. it is possible she has an eating disorder. though she is at a perfectly healthy weight. she has a bmi of 19.1 at 5 foot. so she may possibly be bulimic, or EDNOS. or perhaps, like i said, there isn't any need to worry :) BMI: Underweight = <18.5 Normal weight = 18.5-24.9 Overweight = 25-29.9 Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ if you are worried though, perhaps approach her about it. www.somethingfishy.org this is a recovery based, eating disorder website. it has all the information you need to know how to approach the subject of eating disorders. i hope this helps!
