Today I bought an S-Video to RCA cord so I could watch my laptop screen on my tv. Its not working. I have my s-video plugged into my laptop, and where should the other one be? What do I need to do to make it work?
u needa change ur comps display settings to like presentation mode or something if u havent already

To make it work, right click on desktop. Hit properties. Settings tab. Check the extend my monitor box. If it doesn't work at first you'd have to play around with the video card settings a bit in the advanced tab.

With my Nvidia stuff I can just do a force option to always send out signal through the jack. But my TV is not worth the time.
