What helps me out a lot is going to the gym in the morning. I didn't go today :-( but whenever I start working out a few weeks later I feel GREAT about myself and my self-esteem goes up. Then I start shopping and getting cute outfits, doing my hair, my nails, and my make-up...so try that

whenever i have low self-esteem cropping up, I go and have a hair cut, buy a few nice clothes and change my image a bit, and when people compliment me or look at me differently, i feel good. also, if you feel bad and you're not doing anything about it, its because there's a reason. You're probably have a comfort zone that you refuse or fail to get out of, or you're too afraid of failing in your efforts to make things better. But every good thing in life requires effort and things can't be fixed quickly in an ingenius way. You need to 'work' solidly on your self-esteem. For example, do things such as volunteering at a place, getting a job, going to the gym or going for walks. Cutting out junk food and sugary stuff from your diet. For example, I love most things about my body (its not always been the case), but the only thing I'm not happy with are my stomach and my love-handles. So, this summer, I'm going to do pilates, go to the gym and be careful with my eating, because everytime i eat junk, it goes straight to my middle area.

I had a sever self esteem problem as well. It takes practice, but here are a few ways I got out: support from friends and family (talking it out). Reading up on a hobby/being knowledgable on something...really helps because you will notice that people listen to you and you become more interesting Observe what people you are attracted to do and imatate it. The only way out of a vicious cylce is to change your perspective and if that means now being the funny person or the smart person, do it. Be more outgoing (i dont know if you are or not) but it helps when more people know you and you talk more
