Last night I don't remember what happened much but I just remember a hand coming up to mouth to like cover it, and then I woke up my hand grabbed the hand and I just out of instinct even though I was half asleep started screaming and screaming, like never before, holding onto the hand as tight as I could. I was so terrified I thought someone was attacking me(a hand coming up from under my bed has been a fear of mine for a long time).

Then my mum came down and she found me staring at my hand, which was actually...holding my own other hand. So I don't remember what happened before that, maybe my mouth was itchy and I went up to rub it or maybe I was dreaming about someone attacking me. But I was terrified, and so paranoid that for the rest of the night I could hardly sleep and had to leave the door open and be facing the door and covering my mouth with the blankets.

It was the most terrified I have ever been. It's never happened before. Is it a night terror or something else completely?
