I want to create a menu entry that echoes a text and waits some time or wait for any key to be pressed before it closes down.

As it is now, I have it as "echo text..." but when I run it from start menu it closes down immediately after it executes. I forgot how to make it wait a while or wait for user input to close. Ideas?
