so ok lets just say the big bang DID 100% happen instead of religion as this isnt about rligion reeally, but i didnt know where else to put it, so the universe is expanding from the force the big bang provided everything is flying outwards extremley fast, and as one of newtons laws states, unless an exterior force is applied, in space an object will never stop moving, so unless another force comes in then we will expand forever, the force that could come in in this is obviously gravity, and if there is enough mass and density in space, then it will bring the expansion to a hault, and then bring it all back in on itself, this is called "the big crunch" eventualy into a "singularity" , like one massive mother of black holes, with everything that ever existed inside, and from that there would be another big bang and it will all happen again. however if there is not enough mass and density in space then the universe will just expand forever, meaning the big bang that was at the start of existance was the first and only big bang that has or will ever happen. evidence shows that there probly isnt enough mass or density in space to pull back the universe and we will probly just expand forever and eventually freeze and decay into nothing but radiation, but what i dont get is this, if we came from the big bang, which i believe is true and for the sake of the topic try to agree with to, why and how was there a singuality in the first place? how did it become, if we were the first big bang, and the big crunch will not happen, then dosnt that mean thre will or never has been a singularity? which would mean the big bang didnt happen, which, ermm, help?

This reminds me of the Chaos Theory that Rastafarian opened my eyes up to. It basically says that anything that can happen will eventually happen, and that the universe and all it entails are basically products of completely random events. It makes sense to me, because there's so much random shit out there... especially in outer space. I don't see much of a pattern.

Deep thoughts here, I'm liking it...

there are also other theories related to this topic. many speculate that the expansion of the universe is the result of exotic matter. [matter that repells instead of attracts, it acts opposite of universal gravitation]

i think the "universe" [what little of it we know] has been around for A LOT longer than we could ever imagine...
i think right now, some things are just too complex for our minds to comprehend...maybe one day..

You need to divide that into paragraphs. You mention too many obvious/irrelevant information and it's hard to figure out what you're asking.

However, do note that gravity between the clusters of galaxies would cause a negative rate of acceleration over time, slowing the expansion more and more until it just stood there. Nevertheless, we've observed that the universe is not smoothly expanding at unchanging speed, as you think it should be (erroneously), nor is it slowing down, as science would think it should be, but rather expanding at an increasingly accelerating rate, for insofar unknown reasons.

...which is conjectural, at best.

Damn, you think too much.

I don't know, you'd think there'd have to be more space there for us to expand into, ya know?
And the big bang doesn't make sense...How could something just appear from COMPLETE nothingness?
It gets you thinking so much...

And how could all this just, disappear?
The universe is so big, too big to explore, you wouldn't think it could just vanish.

And the next big bang would start everything over, bringing new people with no intellegence what so ever.
But also, maybe the next "life" wouldn't even be "human".
It could be all new creatures.
hmm. I like this topic, very much.

Edited to remove everything.  Didn't realize it was expansion we were talking about.  I got carried away.

it doesnt vanish.

the theory says that all matter in the universe will collide and create a supermassive black hole, which will colapse again and explode into another expanding universe...

and yes, exotic matter IS conjectural... however the theory is proving itself [at least its proving to be true that exotic matter exists..]

read up on the Casmir effect. its pretty cool stuff, especially since that very stuff could be used, in turn, to satisfy Alcubierre's warp drive system... FTL speeds may one day be possible..
