nope, exotic matter, its an entirely different [yet strangely similar] theory.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_energy

dark energy is a region that creates negative pressure, acting against gravity [some speculate that exotic matter is the CAUSE for this occurance]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exotic_matter

exotic matter is similar to this as it relates to the casmir effect which shows signs of dark energy, however exotic matter is simply matter or atoms, or particles, that have negative mass, or are not made of known existing particles..

i have no idea of what the fuck you just said. i think that's a good thing.

point is, planets are extremely difficult to tell. and you don't need a telescope to figure that earthlike planets won't be all that common across the universe. further, it's silly to think life on earth when there are so few earthlike planets out there means someone made it happen here, because it assumes that life can only arise under the conditions it present on earth, which is preposterous.

I meant that only human-like life can exist on earth-like planets.  I fully believe that it's highly possible for life to exist beneath the ice of Uranus.  Not human-like but life nonetheless.

well, that kind of figures, don't you think? considering human life is supposed to look human to be best suited for earth, it kind of makes sense that elsewhere life would look... like something else.

dun dun dun.

hmm, im not sure...

consider this.. the thousands of species of animals and insects inhabiting earth.. Yes, we are the most developed, but whose to say an earth-like planet's geography [or simply just random events] permitted a different species to develop into an intelligent [as we know it] life form.

i mean if THOUSANDS of life forms can develop here, its safe to assume that on a planet like this, the same is true. perhaps tigers are just as intelligent.. and differently evolved of course.. on a different planet, for they developed much the same way we did, however we merely got the luck of the draw...

just a theory of mine about life on other planets, and why they dont HAVE to look human

Yeah that was my point.  I just didn't phrase it very well.  By using the bible I was implying that I meant a divine creator for humans.  For all I know/care, microbes beneath the crust of Uranus could have their own God.

Actually, that would be really cool.  We have "The big man upstairs."  They might have "The little man down there"

That is of course assuming that they exist, are capable of having, and actually have, beliefs about Microbe God creating microbial lifeforms in Its own image, etc.

wouldnt , if they could think, think that they were normal size, and could still have a "big man upstairs" they wouldnt think they were microbes, i mean humans are practically microbes compared to other things

why exactly do they have to be microbes? do you assume that we are the only "macro" [and i use this term very loosely] lifeform capeable of thought?
