ok. so he broke up with me this morning. i'm crushed. i can't even function. they sent me home from work. i don't know how i'm going to live without him.
but when he broke up with me, he said he's been lying to be about his drug addiction. he said that he didn't use coke but i found out that he does. and now i'm really worried about him.
i want him back but i won't take him back as long as he's on that stuff. and i know that he needs help but i'm not sure how to get it for him.
i could tell his sister who will only tell their dad who will throw him in rehab. which could work, but most likely, it'll just make him resent me for telling and resent his dad for forcing him into rehab. and as soon as he comes out he'll be back on the stuff again.
but if i don't tell someone and something happens to him, i'd never forgive myself.
i love him with all my heart and i want him to feel better and get off the drugs so we can be together again... i know that you can't help someone who dosen't want to be helped... but i can't just sit here and watch him throw his life away. i mean... i love him so much.... he's my best friend. my soulmate. i just want him back....

let him go. hes going down a path of self destruction that nothing short of a miracle will reverse. i think you need to calm down, get some ice cream, curl up on the couch and watch a movie you like. theres plenty of other people out there and im sure youll be just fine. just try to forget about him. if he doesnt want you in his life, why shoudl you want him in yours? i mean really, he sounds to me like he would only bring you down with him! so just let go, calm down, and move on. *hugs*

I used to hang out with a guy who was a serious drug addict and was suicidal. I was so scared that if I left something would happen to him. One night he even showed up at my house and threatened to kill himself with a piece of glass he found on the street. I convinced him that everything would be okay and he slept in my car that night. Before he woke up the next morning I called the cops on him...and it was the best decision I have ever made. He got the help he needed. He and I are no longer speaking, but he is fine now and I'm glad that he is not in my life. I would never go back to the way things were.

With this in mind, I would advise you to tell his sister. It is going to hurt and you may feel guilty but sometimes the what is right doesn't feel good. If you truly care about him you should get him the help he needs in anyway possible.
