Monism says that there is only one reality. Everything that exists is part of the same set.
Ontology is the study of what makes things "real", or why things exist.
Teleology is the study of trying to determine the final effects of a cause by studying the cause itself.

Perhaps something real that happened or happens defies causality as we experience it.
The universe self-creates itself out of nothing, without a prior cause.
You send information to yourself back in time, so the information appears to your past self without a cause (as you experience it).
There are lots of possible scenarios in which the ontic and the teleos could be at loggerheads. Just use your imagination and some logic.

i tried. it seems like a general theme of the book, and has notthing to do with creation. it has to do with the philosophy of running everyday life in most cases it seems
