I know a number of straightedge people and a number of people that don't drink/ingest that I wouldn't term straightedge.

for me, sXe is, at least generally, also associated with a very annoying holier than thou attitude, and not just not drinking.

Just one. Hes only ever had one sip of alcohol on his 21st (Even though its legal at 18 here), hes never smoked and never done any drugs. He only recently started going to clubs and had his first real girlfirend at 22.

i guess straightedge and drugfree /is/ different....


but most people i know who dont drink/dont smoke are straightedge.

it's mostly attached to the hardcore/punk scene.. and a lot of those people already have superiority complexes..

hope you all meet some cool sxe people one day though. :)

i dont drink or smoke like how most pple do every weekend
but every once in a while a drink or two is ok for me.
id never get drunk cos the one time i did it was absolutely insane n so i dont dare to get drunk again...lol
but then again...ever since i entered college i havent had a single drink.
so im kinda alone cos the only form of entertainment pple have here is crazy parties which i do not participate in.
