as far as i know global warming isn't happening, honestly, it isn't, no really believe me, its not, it is a huge media frenzy about !1! graph, there are 1000's of variables that make up the earths climate, and we are naive to think that us as humans can make a difference C02 makes us 0.54% of the earths atmosphere, global warming is not manmade, it is a natural cycle (is shocked at own geekiness ^^)

i never mentioned global warming i mean wether or not I believe it is happening doesn't matter but what does matter is the fact that fossil fuels aren't going to last forever and its better for us to come up with alternative solutions no rather than latter?

Well, there's not much an ordinary person can do. Alternative energy will start playing it's role when the world gets into energy crisis, and then the guys with loads of cash open up and invest into other energy sources. By the way, isn't fusion the energy source of the future? We just need to hope scientists find an effective way to turn fusion into pure energy.

Butt we probably won't be able to put a reactor into a car, lol. Now that's the place where smarties (not the candy 'Smarties') get into place: Applying new energy to the world...It would be cool to have a wireless electrical energy network.

A career in alternative energy would be pretty interesting, and could possibly some into play in my job, but it's not what I'm planning on.

As for global warming, we can't really prove it either way.  It's such a big deal because people need something to worry about and something to fight about.  People in the government use it to get ahead all the time, saying that they're fighting global warming, when they're really doing nothing... yet they get all the votes.

Al Gore is always talking about how important it is... while he flies around in his private jet, polluting the Earth.  I hate that guy... he thinks that he invented the internet...

All in all, nobody really knows as much about global warming as they say they do, and we can't prove it either way.  In my opinion, yes, we should be protecting Earth, but global warming isn't as big a deal as it's made out to be, and is probably mostly natural.
