If your keyboard is fried, fear not, if you look at most laptop keyboards, they're basically one piece, and I'll bet no milk got to the really important stuff, and you'll just have to figure out how to get a spare keyboard and install it. Pester whoever made it if you can.

First thing to do is let the PC dry out for a couple of days then use a cheap USB keyboard, load your computer up and make sure everything is running fine. Then try the laptop keyboard and check if its working. If so no worries. If the keyboard does not work you will need a new one. These are extremely cheap, and some can be installed by you if they keyboard easily slides out, otherwise it will need to be done by a computer shop or the people you bought it off, they will probably charge stupid labour and service charges.

UPDATE: If this was a serious spill you need to take appart the laptop and wash every component in distilled water, wait for it to dry then put it back togeather.
