Take out the "micro" and "-logy", and suffix with "organic chemistry" (so you get "bioorganic chemistry) and I think you've got a science fit for the gods.

Or me, at least =).

I respect your microbiology-ness, Y.  It just ain't as cool as chemistry.  Nowhere near as cool.
