I want to record myself playing guitar on my computer. How can I do this? Where would I plug my guitar in? I do not understand how people can do this stuff!!!!!

Are u being sarcastic? haha i cant tell with most u people but if you are alot of the cameras you can get do have a built in mic.

When I record my guitar or bass I run First through amp and then Line out.  THen Use a .25in to 3.5mm converter to run into Line in or Mic.  THen use audacity to record and edit.  THen export into a given format.
