What do i do when i get angry or stressed out? I went to counciling and i came up with this new coping menthod.. you are to take a hard word that you have trouble spelling and then you try speling it backwards like the word turtle.. eltrut... or when that comes to simple to do take another word... i found this very useful becasue by the time that you have spelled it you have taken enough deep breaths that you are calmed down!!! try it sometime... it really works...

I read books or paint my nails. Usually pampering myself (no matter how cheep it looks or feels) makes things seem a lot less crappy then they are.

I used to simply not handle stress, anger, or any other emotion for that matter.  I would just bottle it all up and pretend it wasn't happening.  Then I went to counciling and learned alot of new things...mostly that if I want to remain in the free world I need to deal with things instead of letting them build up inside.  I deal with life by planning my future or imagining terrible things happening to the person that has made me mad :)

when i'm stressed i go out as soon as i can and pick up my camera . its calming and takes my mind off of the stress it also leaves me with beautiful pictures!

actually i heard that meditation works good, i want to try it but always forget to.

ok sometimes i work out to. but thats just for fun. but i also heard somewhere that working out really does help more becasue it prodouces something i dont remember what its like endorphans or some shit that make you happy. that sounds stupid but i heard it a long time ago. sry.

I have a book containing beautiful quotes and pictures which I often read should I feel sad, I call it my "Happy Book". If I hear beautiful words, should it be lyrics or a song/poem...I shall put it into my book with any pictures which make me smile   It all depends upon the situation. I often like to be around my friends. Should they sit with me in silence, or allow me to speak of my problems...it is not important. I may just like to be comforted. I enjoy writing poetry when I am feeling stressful as poetry is my greatest outlet.

I a tiny while ago I collapsed and had a few panic attacks, and going to see a doctor on 21st.

But now recently I have been starting to do self hypnosis with free mp3 files and also go for more rests during the day. Making sure I remain cool and hopefully calm, walking away from all arguments that become centre of attention.

Plus I'll see what the doc can do. I only got stressed out because my parents keep arguing who have stress problems themselves.

Just recently I started cutting to deal with the stress. I know its a bad habit and I'm not telling anyone that you should do it!!!! It's like a drug, I found that after I started that i started getting mad easier an dthen I would go to my room and cut myself. I liked it so much that I looked for any reason to get mad. But like I said cutting isnt going to solve anything!!! so anyone that is reading this that is thinking about cutting or does already, try to think of another way to deal, blast your radio, slam a door (several times!!) anything but hurt yourself!!
