well sonds like damage to the screen and speaker. get a new one or get a ds.

I did have problems with my DS screen (do not do this) I lost in a game got angry punshed the top screen. evrything stoped. Then it would only go on for a few secons. I got even angrier so i threw it on the floor it fixed.

Do not do this with psp. the clamshel stoped the screen from smashing. and the consoles are built difrent so. call Sony?
