If anyone has watched good will hunting you'll know what I'm talking about. Those guys who think because they read something they know it all. I ran into a guy like that today. Arrogant as hell, I told him real people have a original ideas. He was a real wanker but shut up soon after. I honest feel a pint over his head would have done him some good. Anyone else have these kind of people around?

I don't really know of any.  I tend to think well about people though so that could be why.  I kind of know of one person that was like that.  My political science professor last semester was sort of like that.

My psych professor is like that... but wait... he knows a shit load more about psychology than everybody who just posted put together.  Many people arrogant about a subject become arrogant because they really do focus on it.

yeah, i hate guys who act like John Kerry ... liberal boors. i have a professor like that. he's always talking about his PHD and dissertation and his lectures are boring as hell. plus he snogs a lot too. once my friend said she wanted to talk to him about a paper and he said, "come back when i'm sober."
