You wake me up and ask if you can talk to me. I'm like, sure. Just to tell me that I don't have enough money to buy a car when I know better, and my mechanic told me so too. "What happens when you dont have money for plates/insurance? And then you get it but your car breaks down 10 miles away on your way home from your new job way out wherever and you have NO money, and no car" Well theres a reason I'm taking a mechanic with me, so I DONT buy a piece of shit.
Oh, and I shouldnt bother my mechanic by saying "Hey, when would be a good time I can come over and we could browse craigslist cars and see whats out there?" I should just let him pop up with a car for me one day. Sorry for trying to show initiative and not just be like "I have this much money, find me a car please, kthxbai"
Ugh...
Well sorry, if I aim to save like 5k I'll never fuckin make it since I've been stuck at 1500 for at least 3months now and they dont pay me enough for that. And sorry for being desperately in NEED of a car since no one else will either let me pay the extra to be put on their insurance so I can just.. take their car, or they wont make one lousy phone call to find out if I can just borrow their car and be covered still.
This is getting on my fuckin nerves! I'm not trying to be irrational or just blow off these things my grandfather is telling me, but I'm hearing it not just from him, but everyone BUT my mechanic! Shouldn't they leave the car finding to HIM? Does everyone just HAVE to put me down about every aspect of my buying a car? This is stupid and makes finding a car for myself feel hopeless.
