Tonight (if I don't work from 7-2 tomorrow) my boyfriend and I are gonna go out for dinner etc.

Since we don't use condoms (neither of us have std's) and I am off of my ring for a week ( for my period, but my period starts on friday usually)  He pulls out, but I know there's that "pre" stuff that happens, what are the chances of me getting pregnant?

am I safe, because it's my 'grace week' per se, or would it have worn off and make it as if I was never on birth control. ?

People have gotten pregnant both using the pull out method and thinking they were 'safe'. Don't be one of those.

There is no 'safe' period. You can get pregnant at any time, whether or not he pulls out. If you are not on your ring then you are not protected and you either should put off having sex or using another form of contraception (be it condoms, femidom, etc).

lol the nuvaring is hormonal, just like many other forms of birth control. your week off is still protected, just like you would be if you were on the pill with a week of sugar pills for you to have your period.

yeah my bad, i was reading the information about the ring being out >3 hours before the 3 week period is over and not during the 1 week without the ring.

Yeah.. I was about to say, there definitely is a safe period.

OP, I think you're good and don't have anything to worry about. But if you're really worried, use a condom.
