I'm not on food stamps and don't plan to be. It sucks and makes life hard but there are other ways to get food. I don't know anyone on food stamps but I don't look down on people who are on them. I understand needing money for food. I wish being on foodstamps wasn't looked at as badly as it is.

I live in Canada but if I didn't, I wouldn't be on food stamps and I wouldn't ever plan to be. I'm lucky that I have the ability to get a good education and a good job and that if I were ever truly in trouble, I could turn to my family.

I don't look down on anyone using them though, sometimes life is just tough.

I should get them. I'm a good investment. Yesterday was the third time this month someone asked me "are you in the industry?"--concerning a different subject on each occasion--No Mr. Sixfigure, I have $100 to my name and I'm wondering how I'm going to pay rent.

To be honest, people like me should not be employed washing dishes. Oh well, just six years of school and a hundred grand later--maybe I can get a job with the military exploring better ways to vaporize small village children.

AFAIK we're not on foodstamps. Are they like actual stamps? or what? And you can give these in exchange for food, right?
I guess that's pretty cool and it seems like it could help a lot of people that can't afford to buy groceries.

You get a debit card thing now. But it will only work on groceries.

almost everone one them can and will go to a corner store and buy cigs, diapers, or exchange them for money. I know plenty of places that do.
