Why give someone a hard time for their beliefs and core-values? People use the "they're pushing their religion on us" excuse, well we're actually not. We're not dragging you to church or forcing you to read the Bible. If we want to talk and testify about the goodness of the Lord we should be freely to do so. Maybe you should use your 'tolerance' standard and respect our beliefs and quit being so double minded about tolerance. Tolerance isn't a one-way street folks.

"People use the "they're pushing their religion on us" excuse, well we're actually not." it is when you're preaching against gay marriage and homosexuality nobody's forcing you to have gay sex or getting married to your own sex, so why ban it? because they're uncomfortable people believing something other than what they do

We are tolerant of homosexuality. We don't accept it, or promote it. It does go against the teachings of the Bible. Just because we are opposed to it, doesn't mean we preach about it in every sermon. We believe every sin is equal in the eyes of God.

I usually just laugh at Christians. Its funny how a lot of them think that their beliefs should be law. And its funny how may people in the religion are realizing thet a life of serving some God isn't good enough and joining the rest of the world in having fun lives. And last but not least I enjoy watching them have to deal with the fact that most of the wold desn;t see things like they do and they have to suffer though the world being more accepting of things they find taboo. :)

I respect religion, and people's right to it. However, when people try to make religious law into secular law is where it crosses the line. There are obvious exceptions, like not murdering and stealing. I fully respect people's right to express their faith and their religion. But when a religion that I want no part of starts to effect my life, then there is a problem. The thing that I am tired of is people wanting the government to stay out of religion, but they want to put religion in the government.
I have been asked before why do I hate Christianity. I don't. I hate the people who are using a supposedly peaceful religion as a pretext to hate, bulling and murder. I know that this isn't all Christians, but just a select few.
This actually brings up a question that I have been interested in for a while. So according to the bible (Lev 18:22) Homosexuality is a sin, right? Why do people still not follow the other laws of the bible? It seems in the common day and age people like to decide which biblical laws to follow, and which to not. Basically telling God that they know better than him, and can make their own decisions on how to live their lives and which rules to follow.
This is not an attack whatsoever, but merely an intellectual curiosity.

if you were "tolerant" of homosexuality, you wouldnt be doing everything in your power to see that the government doesn't legalize gay marrage you're clearly pushing your religion and your beliefs on others
a vote for gay marriage doesn't necessarily mean "i approve of gay marriage" but "i think anybody who wants to should be able to do it"
because face it, if gay marriage is legalized, nobody is forcing you to get married to your own sex and nobody is forcing you to not be christian
