I'm so fucking done with my BestFriend who hasn't done anything wrong but be completely oblivous to the fact that I'm hopelessly in love with him! It pisses me off so bad because it seems like he would know and wouldn't keep leading me on by responding to text messages and casually flirting back. Its like he knows what his effect on me is and just wants to break my heart. What kind of bestfriend is that? A shitty one who doesn't deserve my friendship and can find a new bestfriend

I wouldn't really say it's his fault. You're best friends. A lot of best friends casually flirt with each other and it can mean absolutely nothing.

Have you guys been in a relationship before? The reason why I ask is because... I don't think you'll know if you're compatible with this guy just because he's a good friend of yours. I mean, don't get me wrong-- I'm not questioning your feelings, but you have to wonder: the way you describe how you feel for him is quite fucking scary- for any guy, especially.

I say, calm down! Don't just casually flirt with him. Ask him on a date, see how that goes if he says yes, and at the end of the night, explain how you feel for him-- don't make it sound too clingy though. Let him see how he handles things.. step back, and don't be irrational.

If what happens works out in your favor, then great. But if you put effort into pursuing this guy and you aren't getting anything back, you really need to move on.
