I don't eat meat anymore... but when I did I absolutely adored this dish. Salsa Chicken: 1 bottle of Salsa (any type). $2.00 1/3 cup brown sugar. 2 chicken breasts $3.00 2 fresh tomatos $1.50 Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Chop the tomatos into 8 pieces per tomato. Mix the salsa, brown sugar, and tomatos in a bowl. Put the defrosted chicken in a deep pan, then cover them with the salsa mix. Put in the oven until the salsa mix turns brown and boils. (Approximately 20-30 minutes). Take out, enjoy!

Kool-aid sandwhiches. My boyfriend's mom showed me this... I didn't eat any because of the gelatin but she LOVES them. It's kind of like a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich... only cheaper, and funner. Ingredients: 1 packet of kool-aid mix (any flavor) >$1.00 Peanut butter 1 slice of bread. Slice the bread in half. On one half of the bread spread a layer of peanut butter. Then open the package of kool-aid mix and sprinkle a thin layer on the peanut butter. Put the other half of the bread on top. Cost: less than $1.00

PECAN PRALINES WOO! INGREDIENTS: 2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed 1/4 cup water 1/4 cup evaporated milk 2 cups pecan pieces and halves 2 teaspoons vanilla 3 tablespoons chilled butter, cut in pieces PREPARATION: Combine sugar, milk, and water in a 2-quart saucepan; heat to boiling stirring constantly. Cook until mixture reaches soft ball consistency (235°).Remove from heat; stir in pecans, vanilla, and butter. Immediately drop by tablespoons onto wax paper. I know I said I'd get exact prices but I don't know when I'll have the conveniency to do so. I just wanted to make this contest look more active because I think it's a great idea. Estimated price (i'm not good at estimating, but I'm estimating at the most) - $10, most probably less. But these things are GOOD man, it's worth it. Millionairs Shortbread this is the best cake biscuit thing ever its chocolate caramel and shortcakey stuff i perfected my own recipie, and this makes 24 squares and beleive me you will eat the lot. cost about $5-10 1lb jar of Argentinian dulce de leche 250g of good milk chocolate For the shortcakey base. 300g of softened butter 175g of golden caster sugar 150g of milk chocolate chopped into teenytiny peices 225g of sifted plain flour 110g of semolina Directions. Preheat the oven to 150degrees first mix up the sugar and butter intill it is all fluffy and then stir the chocolate in with it. gently fold in the flour and semolina as if you were threading an oil rig through a letterbox. then add the mixture a big enough tray. Dont worry if it looks a messit willl soon be fine. prick it with a fork all over and then launch it in the oven for 40mins till firm and golden. take out and leave to rest till cool. Chocolate Caramel stuff blast the Argentinian dulce de leche in the microwave for a bit and spread all over the base. melt the chocolate and then spread all over the caramel. let to cool a little and then cut into squares before its hard then remove when its completly cool. EAT!

This is the best meal EVER and it is the easiest recipe I found for it. I thought this particular recipe sounded....interesting...but then I made it over the weekend to test it out and it actually tasted better than the major recipe I normally use. It's AWESOME. I mean really, who knew ketchup could taste this good. HAWAIIAN MEATBALLS 1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) pineapple chunks, drain well, reserve juice 1 lb. ground beef 1 egg 2 slices fresh bread, crumble 1 tsp. instant onion 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. cloves 1/8 tsp. allspice Mix beef and all these ingredients below together and pineapple juice. Mold small mounds around pineapple chunks. Place in 12 x 8 x 2 inch dish. 2 tablespoons reserve juice. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or microwave on high for 4 minutes. Pour all juice off. Make sauce with: 1/2 c. ketchup 1/3 c. brown sugar. This cost me about $4 to make because I already had a can of pineapple and the ketchup and stuff. The only thing I had to buy was the ground beef. If you need to buy everything, I say it won't come out to more than $10.00 and the only thing you will use all of is the pineapple and the beef. Everything else is there for anything else you want to make. As for the time it took, maybe 25-30 min. in all, at the most. Plus, maybe I'm a weirdo, but I love the feeling of mixing all the stuff together with my hands (of course I washed them). The feeling of all the cold stuff squishing stuff through my fingers was divine. ...now I sound creepy. (Edited by MoonlitEden at 1:50 am on May 30, 2006)
