When I was 17 I was stalked by a police officer. I lived in a small town (3000 people) and I was pulled over by the same officer over and over. He didn't like me, and I don't know why. Every time I got off work, his car would be parked a block away and he'd follow me home. I have always been a cautious driver, but because of my car (Pontiac grand Prix) I think he thought I was going to drive fast and recklessly, which was farther from the truth, I have always been a responsible person, and very cautious. I do not speed, always wear my seat belt, and tbh I worked a full time job, so I did not have time to even drive around. My car once skidded on some snow and he pulled me over on suspicion of drunk driving.. Which of course, I wasn't. I am not saying I was perfect, but every time I got off work, he was waiting for me, to follow me home. I was afraid to tell my mom, because I honestly thought I must have been doing something wrong and didn't want to get in trouble.

Right around the time I turned 18, he pulled me over just because and I quote "I could tell by the look on your face, you weren't going to stop at the stop sign."

I wasn't speeding, I wasn't driving recklessly, I still stopped at the stop sign, yet I got pulled over because the look on my face said otherwise? Thank god I had enough sense to pull my cellphone out after he stopped me and voice recorded the entire thing, because I was getting tired of being harassed. I called my house, which I knew no one would be there to answer, and the answering machine picked up and recorded our entire conversation. He told me "I will pull this fucking car apart if I pull you over again and I will fine you for what ever I feel like fining you for." He then walked back to his car and roared off. He didn't write out a warning or anything. He just threatened me. I showed my mom later that night and we contacted the county sheriff (who thankfully knew my mom and our family) and within a week, he "resigned". Turns out that I wasn't the only teenage girl he was doing this to He ended up leaving the county altogether.

Good. Fucking. Riddance.

He pulled me over at least twice a month, and would ask inappropriate questions, "Who have you been with tonight?" "Did you just come from your boyfriends house?" "Are you going to see your boyfriend?" Just fucked up shit. Idk if he was sexually attracted to me or if he just wanted to intimidate me. He would also pay me werid compliments as well and made it seem like he was just looking out for me, which I know now is a grooming behavior. I'm so glad that he left and I have never seen him again.

It is statistically proven that sociopaths (a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience) are attracted to law enforcement, military, and clergy because they like feeling powerful and feeling in control. You'd be surpised how many sociopaths are out there (1 out of every 25 ppl) Not all of them are serial killers (FBI estimates that there are between 25-50 active serial killers at any given time in the us) but because they lack a conscience, i've never met a "nice" sociopath and I have known a few, and probably so have you, and never even realized it. I am not a doctor and do not have the training or expertise to diagnoise someone with anti-social personality disorder, but i'm 99.99 percent sure that he is one. He is a dangerous man who was drunk on power. What a big bad man to target and terrorize a minor.

Get a camera for your car. They are not expensive. Get some evidence to what you are talking about.
