Over the last few months ive been having increase health related anxiety and its taking over my life. Ive been freaking out over little things  like cat scratches etc.
today I realized that ive been using hydrocortisone for a momth now daily on my bug bumps due to itchyness etc so i read about hydrocortisone withdrawal and it FREAKED me out its almost 3am and i should be asleep but instead im having overwhelming anxiety about my skin. Tonight i decided to stop using the cream for good cause i am paranoid now, sigh* what should i do guys //

You'd be surprised at how much you can relax after a good work out. I get anxiety some times too and I find that if I can excuse myself from whatever I'm doing and go for a jog or do some jumping-jack's out of view, it will help ease any racing thoughts. Just doing something until you start to breath hard is good enough. If not, go for a bit longer.

I always had health anxiety and it's always been tied to outside anxiety that would manifest in increased health fear. You've had a lot going on this past year, you probably have a lot of emotional tension in general. Just general anxiety reduction would probably help this particular manifestation, however you choose to do that. Plus you were sick for a little while, so that's probably lingering in your mind.
