There's a bicycle race coming up that I'd like to enter, but I'm not sure what distance to choose. The options are 25 or 65 miles.

40 miles is doable, but it's about as far as I've been this summer. If I sign up for 65, I'd be happy just to finish. If I sign up for 25, I can actually be competitive, and maybe even make the top ten.

Or close to it, anyhow.

So far, I've entered for distances outside of my comfort zone, and I'm no stranger to being almost last. However, I'm at a point where I can do twenty miles in an hour and a half, without becoming tired or sore.

If I should ride 65 miles, there's a good chance I won't go to work the next day.

So 25 or 6 to 4?

Finished fifth, 30.2 miles, 1:16.

I'm tired.
