Hey I was an RA in college and it was pretty easy. I think that there was a whole of training in the summer, but myelf and a few other started after winter break and it was 2 hrs of training. So you didnt miss to much, most of it for me was team building stuff. Just relax and ask questions, because think of the personalities of most RAs they are there to help people, and that would in you. They will also prolly go over most of what you have to during your first week again. For your hallway you should talk to the other RA in your hall if there is one, then see what the have planned.
If not have meeting share some of your expectations and what you plan on doing in your hall. ALso tell everyone to keep their door open so they get to know each other. Plan a few meals together that first week, because there will be a ton of people who dont know anyone.
