Obama is just interpreting the Constitution in a way that satisfies him.

bin Laden was a covert operation... those are constitutionally 'questionable' by definition. But, those who carried out the raid were apparently able to 'interpret' the Constitution in a way that satisfied them. It was an all volunteer team.

She will ramble on about how it is okay to disregard Article 1, section 8 when it comes to acts of war, but how dare someone not pay close attention to Article 1, section 8 when it comes to nationalizing health care.

You know, of course, that Obama didn't write the health care bill?

You know, of course, that Obama has criticized the Constitution as being a "charter of negative liberties"?

There is no provision in the Constitution that allows the government of the United States to force a citizen to buy a good or service. No matter how Obama wants to 'interpret' it.

What part of Art. 1, Sec. 8 speaks to "acts of war'?

Oh, and thanks for predicting how my response would be worded.

Article 1, section 8 talks about declared wars, and nowhere in the Constitution does it talk about launching military raids, an act of war, into allied nations without either their consent or a war declaration.

No, it doesn't talk about "declared wars". It gives Congress the power "To declare War". The power "To raise and support Armies". The power "To provide and maintain a Navy". AND "To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces".

The Constitution does not speak to what constitutes an "act of war".

What is your definition of trolling?

Where in the Constitution do you find the ability of the government to force a citizen to purchase a good or service?

I found it right next to the part that talks about comitting acts of war on allied nations without their consent nor a war declaration by Congress.

Now who's trolling?

Perhaps you'd find this an interesting read...

Now, would you like to actually talk about the mandate? Or was this simply an attack thread?

Typical neocon, hates the Constitution whenever it gets in the way of their empire building while trying to trick people into believing that they somehow respect it in other parts of life.
