No, but they can very easily overlap. In particular when someone's ego is "bloated" it implies that it is inflated, or otherwise expanded, to the point of being obnoxious.

Haha.  Let me tell you a thing about being a badass.  It's kind of like the catch-22 of showing off your alleged strength.  Saying "I'm a badass" automatically disqualifies you from being a badass, because part of being a badass is not caring what other people think of you.  You can't find out if you're a badass by asking others either, because real badasses don't care about approval.

The only way to truly be a badass is to do all the normal badass things but not brag about them all the time.  Learn to fight.  Get a nice car.  Write poetry.  Learn to use firearms.  Win a drinking contest.  Sleep with at least 30 girls.  But only ever mention it once after you do it.  Don't keep bragging, people only care how many men you've killed one time.  Whatever, I forgot some of the rules.

But you can't say that you're a badass!  You can say badass THINGS like 'they wanna kill me? i want them to try' or 'i came here to kick some ass and fuck some bitches. and i've already shot something up all the women' or 'what will you find down there? bodies...just bodies' or whatever.

I win this Bro-down.
