My dog smells awful. And I don't mean normal dog smell. I mean AWFUL. I give her baths, and she goes back to smelling terrible two days later.

I'm not exaggerating, I swear. She's an inside dog and most dogs I've had have never smelled this terrible before, even going a while between baths.

She's a mix breed. I think some kinda terrier. And pretty small.

Probably something in her food. Or the fact you keep bathing her.

my dog has skin problems after her previous owner never bathing her or cutting her hair, and shes a shih tzu so her hair grows quickly and long. anyway, her pores then blocked and she now gets very oily, but scabby skin which leaves her smelling bad.
i know this will not be the case for you, but she could have a skin problem of some sort, so take her to the vets maybe!

I really only bath her once every couple weeks though. :/ is that still too much?

I would have thought it depends on her coat.

My mum gets our cocker spaniel bathed every couple of months maybe and she never smells of anything other than normal dog smell.

Dog's aren't really designed to be bathed if you think about it though. I'd say look into coating and see what you find. Or ask Raven, she knows more about this shizz.

guaranteed it's her food. What type is she on? It's she's on some crap from walmart or whatever, you need to consider doing some research and switching to good quality stuff. Feeding shit food is the equivalent of a person eating McDonalds every day.

The better food IS more expensive, but you feed less of it than the shitty useless stuff, you dog will be MUCH healthier, and she will stop stinking. A healthy dog should not have any kind of strong, unpleasant odor.

change her food and stop bathing her so much. dogs shouldn't be bathed often with any type of soap at all, whether or not it's made for dogs.
