There were 900 pets at the beginning of the month. 600 were cats. Less than 100 were eligible for adoption. There were 200 dogs. Only 24 were eligible for adoption. And there were 100 odds and ends, I don't know how many of those were (horses, pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc...)
I've been watching the dog adoptions. It's July and there are six eligible. No new dogs were posted.
What is going on here? Why are there no new adoptable dogs being posted? Why were there only 100 of the 600 cats? I understand it takes time to process them/train and prepare them, but NONE have been posted.
Any other explanations? They refuse to release euth. statistics, but I don't want to get my panties twisted about animals being put down. I don't know if they're inflating numbers by including the Strays or the animals who aren't adoptable or what.
