Funky pillows can really transform a white couch. Opt for one or two in a bright color, and keep the rest in muted tones, even if they have graphic patterns (try to limit yourself to no more than three different shades), so it doesn't look too busy. Use the same rule for patterned curtains and throw rugs, which lend an unexpected edginess to a room!

White couches are useless. You can't even sit on them often or they become dirty. I'll be getting a black couch. Maybe i'll put nteresting pillows on it. all I really care about is how comfortable it is.
