Coming back from a situation where you have no real friends is hard. I think this is because when you start to make new friends, you automatically expect way too much out of them. You want them to want to hang out with you and on occasion you even confide in them. Since they probably already have an established friend group they don't need to hang out with you that much and will most likely divulge anything you tell them to any listening ear just to have a conversation piece. Basically the second thing is what I'm most concerned about. How can I have a better filter and keep to myself? Like for example this past Saturday I told my friend of 6 months I was applying for something and she immediately went and told other people to apply for the same.
