Some of the questions I remember were:

1. Are you currently or have you been domestically abused?

2. Have you engaged in anal intercourse?

3. Then she asked some questions about my penis, like if I were having any issues (for example: Erectile Dysfunction)

I don't understand what any of those questions have anything to do with my surgery. I have NEVER been asked any of those questions from any doctor, or any hospital. I've had surgery done before and they didn't ask these questions. I just thought it was weird. Like wtf?

there could be something that led them to beleive they had to ask you those quetions, i dont think it has anything to do with your surgery, you can allways ask why there asking you these sort of questions

The last example you gave is the only one I can sorta understand. They usually ask a billion questions for the anesthesiologists. They need to get as much info on you as they can including current medical conditions and medications you're on which fit under why they would ask about ED. Also, ED in a young person usually indicates some other problems in the body like cardio issues.

As for the domestic abuse and anal sex thing, no idea. Might be hospital protocol to see if someone would confess to being abused and therefore help them. My pediatrician did something similar, they handed out surveys though. The anal sex might be for their safety bc as dumb as it is you know how gay men can't donate blood? I wonder if it puts them on higher alert for HIV or something. Just guessing though.

When I went for my pre-op appointment they asked me a zillion questions. I have my op next Wednesday. Good luck!

Those nurses and assistants or whoever tend to do the same thing over and over again and many tend to lose their people skills in the process.
