This is what regular chip bags look like, and how they're generally opened.
Now, I grew irritated by constantly licking Hot Fries seasoning off of the sides of my hand. My superfuckingawesome bag design would prevent this from occurring. Tell me this isn't the most convenient thing you've ever seen in the past month.
If you've already seen this bag's existence, then they stole my idea because I totally invented this.

Nice. That said, also impractical. You can't put a bag like that in your pocket after opening it without them spilling everywhere. Not unless you make them resealable and your new design is going to be more expensive to make in the first place.
The only takers for this idea are going to be big name crisp packets making fancier crisps for upper class ladies. I say that because your average crisp eater does not give a fuck if they get seasoning all over their fingers. Quite the contrary, they see the opportunity to lick their fingers clean as an added treat.

further the utility of this product goes beyond upper class ladies. i am a man who loves his chips but sometimes i like to munch whilst doing other things, such as reading, and it would be nice to be able to handle the book without having chip residue all over mine hands
