I know it's not the same but come on.
Slavery and the holocaust involved years of torture, torment, and hard labor.
Not even slightly comparable. And I am ready to move past the holocaust and slavery. This world is stuck in the past.
This is an old woman getting bullied on a bus by kids. I dealt with it and she can. Noone should be respected just because they are old. You EARN respect and she hasn't earned theirs for whatever reason.
I'm not saying shes at fault but her being old just isn't enough reason to give her respect. She took this job knowing kids can be assholes.
Its not a job for people who are weak. I have seen many weak tachers leave schools because they couldn't handle kids and were not firm enough. She just cried. The kids are assholes but kids are often assholes and its just a part of life.

It is when that's how I really feel. I accept that life is going to be full of assholes and bullshit. And I know that bullying is common and isn't going to stop.
