It sounds like you and your therapist are not a good match. You need to dump her, not therapy.

i can't relate to this person anymore. i don't even know if i want to do therapy anymore. theres no connection or humor
How long ago did it change? You said you can't relate to her anymore, does this mean that you guys used to connect and laugh? If you guys used to connect, but not laugh, it might just mean that your therapist is more of the serious type. If you feel that a more light spirited and humorous therapist might be better then change therapists.
she just seems to say really derogotory stuff like how artistic people may need to work crummy jobs before they make it,
Yeah that's a bit discouraging and all, but for many people who want to make it in that field, that is the reality and she's probably just preparing you for the reality you might have to face. It's not that easy to get recognized and a lot of people seem to overlook it. I get that you probably don't want to hear that from a therapist, but it's good to know the reality. But just because there may be hardship to get to where one wants to be does not mean that it's not worth it or that the dream is impossible.
or mental illness facts i already know. its like talking to one of those AIM bots. does this mean i don't need therapy anymore? i am getting a little tired of copays. talking about the same thing.
I don't think you should give up on therapy. Just because this therapist didn't work out doesn't mean that there won't be another one out there who can help you better. Reflect on why you're in therapy and decide for yourself if you really think that you don't need it anymore. Have you gained the right tools from therapy? Like I said, just because this therapist is repetitive it does not necessarily mean that you are done with therapy.
no one else really seems to want to listen to me my parents can for a while. its hard but i mean i really am in pain sometimes and wish i could have a little more sympathetic ear from someone who gets it not read about it in college.
Have you tried writing down your feelings? Or venting to friends or other family members? Either way, it still sounds like you need therapy due to the fact that you may still have dilemmas that you need to talk over with someone who is qualified to help you. thanks for breaking things down for me. she said theres a guy therapist there i suppose i could try not sure though last time i was with a guy therapist it seemed just silly and i didn't feel comfortable. i mean all i can do is ask around. i can't afford to go back to my old therapists they've basically gone indepandant so to speak and don't accept my health care. they really understood me though. the last case worker was with me but i graduated from the young adult plan, which is the i guess term for young adults who are still in more of a dillema or whatever then i was. so i can't see her anymore. thats it i mean i really don't have many women in my life lol. oh well. i can't burden a girl with my wacky episodes of mental insanity anymore. i guess ill ask around. fuck.
