So, my girlfriend and I spent some time on top of her roof and she basically told me her deepest, darkest secrets that only 4 or so people know. I told her that I am still not running away and that I accept her for everything. She says that she trusts me and that scares her a little bit, but she really does trust me (obviously).

We have only known each other for 2 1/2 months and have been dating for less than a month and she is willing to tell me all her secrets that have scared so many guys away or guys to call her a whore. Does this mean she really does love me and is just afraid to say it because so many people have ditched her in the past and that we have been dating for such a short period of time?

It means she thinks highly of you and cares enough about you to want to be honest.

Also, keep in mind some girls pull the "I can't trust anyone I'm wounded" thing to get sympathy. Go with your gut feeling.

She trusts you enough to share secrets
This does not necessarily mean that she loves you
Think of all the close friends you've trusted
or the people you've dated and trusted
Doesn't mean that you were necessarily in love
You just trusted them.

But don't look at her trusting you as the only signal of her feelings so far. It is possible to trust someone without being in love. Keep being there for her and building your relationship. Her trusting you is a great sign that she cares, so keep up the good work. There are a lot of factors in being in love with someone, so give it some time

Love and trust are not the same thing. I trust people I don't love, and I love people I don't entire;y trust. Try not to read too much into this and just see how things develop.
