online?

If so, what websites and areas regarding computers (I'm only familiar with C++, but would like to expand my knowledge beyond simple programming).

What are you looking to learn? Other programming languages?

Not simply programming languages but quite a bit more regarding computers and software.  Basically (and unfortunately) I'm so computer illiterate I'm not sure what to call or describe what I want to learn; but it definitely includes the architecture of a computer and what you would learn taking a security class involving computers.

W3schools.com is a good place if you want an open source of codes from html to css to javascript and many more.

This is a module I studied a few years ago. It's undergone a bit of restructuring since but I found it useful.
