I'm not against people killing animals for meat, but I think the way they kill them is wrong and not dignified.

They literally strip away cows skin before its dead.
They keep chickens in the dark and in filthy conditions so when they do see the light they go choatic and try to kill all around them.
Some pork producers won't even give pigs the chance to mate for themselves, they just insert the sperm in the females and pigs are meant to have the best orgasms ever! Why deny them?

Plus when I look at animals around me, cats, dogs even fish... I know they think, it may not be the same as me. But I am also an animal, and animals should all be treated with respect

why must i equate myself to another animal? if i were an animal i wouldn't treat animals with dignity and i would subject them to abuse

Because you aren't better than animals. Even though animals do follow instinct more than us that doesn't mean they don't think.

I've seen documentaries of animals doing things that are just unbelievably human and I've seen humans acting more animalistic at certain times too.

You should watch documentaries on animals, a mother's love is just as powerful in nearly all animals, apes can make tools for God sake.

And animals feel pain, jealousy and love just as much as people.

They do follow instincts but domesticated animals are so extremely human like, they learn like us, they feel like us.

They will never be exactly like us but maybe that just makes them better than us, at least they don't understand wrong and right the same as us, because when an animal commits wrong you can forgive it, but when a person commits wrong, you know they did it on purpose.

These are just my thoughts though, I hate some animals but I don't think I'm better than them, I'm just a different type of animal
